It is essential that the information you provide remains private and confidential and therefore, Sapphire Therapy would never sell, trade or rent your personal information to a third party unless you have given us your permission to do so.

The information is collected via a booking either over telephone and/ or a disclaimer which will needed to be completed prior to our initial first session. A contract containing all necessary information will be emailed to you prior our first counselling session together.

Information that is gathered using “cookies” will also be kept private. A “cookies” aim will be used to assist to recognize a user should the user decide to visit the website again.

The information you have given will maintain if the purpose for which the data was collected continues. The information you have provided will be for as long you are a client of ours and you will remain for a minimum of 5 years except if it is retention is mandatory for satisfaction of audit, legal, regulatory requirements and to protect Sapphire Therapy`s interest.

This privacy policy is created to assist you to understand what information will be collected and how we will be dealing with this information. We will refuse to provide a service to anyone who declines to sign a contract. Personal data provided can reveal an individual`s name, age, address, date of birth, gender as well as contact details. It can also reveal some personal information from the category which is known as “special category of personal data” i.e. health, racial or ethnics origin and/ or data on relation to sexual orientation.

To be able to provide our services to you we will need to gather and process personal information about you. Your personal information will be collected via telephone and a contract which will need to be completed and signed by you to receive our services. We will not be providing a service to anyone who is refusing to sign a contract prior our first counselling session.

Sapphire Therapy does not take any responsibility for any misleading or incorrect information that will be provided by you on the contract. You are solely responsible for the information you are providing in relation to mental health questions when reading through and signing the contract.
